Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These terms are an agreement between you and virtual malloc LLC ("virtual malloc", "we", "our", or "us") and apply to your use of our website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. About This Site
The site describes our company and our services, and lets you ask questions about our work, contact us, and apply for jobs. Nothing on the site is an offer to provide services. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement between us.
3. The Ask Box
The ask box uses an AI model to match your question to our case studies and summarize them. Its answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are for general information only, are not professional, legal, or financial advice, and are not a proposal, quote, or commitment from us.
Please do not enter confidential information or personal information about others. The ask box limits how often each visitor can use it and may sometimes be unavailable.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the site, overload it, or get around its rate limits or security
- Scrape the site or send automated requests to the ask box or forms
- Try to make the ask box produce content unrelated to our services, or harmful content
- Upload files containing viruses or other harmful code
- Submit false information or impersonate anyone
5. What You Send Us
You are responsible for what you send through the ask box, the contact form, and job applications, and you confirm you have the right to send it. We use it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Contacting us does not create a client relationship or any duty of confidentiality. Please do not send confidential information until we have a written agreement in place. Applying for a job does not guarantee an interview or offer of employment.
6. Case Studies
Our case studies describe past work. To protect our clients, names and details may be withheld or changed. Results described in a case study reflect that engagement and are not a promise of similar results.
7. Intellectual Property
The content of the site, including text, images, case studies, and software, is owned by virtual malloc or its licensors. Our name and logo are our trademarks. You may view and share the site for your own information, including when evaluating our services, but except as the law allows you may not:
- Copy, modify, or republish the materials
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display
- Attempt to reverse engineer any software on the site
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notices
- Mirror the materials on any other server
8. Disclaimer
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, and we do not promise that the site will be available or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, virtual malloc and its suppliers will not be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, loss of data or profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the site, even if we have been told such damage is possible.
10. Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Contact Us
